GOD'S PRESENCE IS WITH YOU (Jacob's Dream of a Ladder to Heaven)

"Jacob woke up from his sleep. He said, " God is in this place—truly. And I didn't even know it!" He was terrified. He whispered in awe, "Incredible. Wonderful. Holy. This is God's House. This is the Gate of Heaven." Genesis 28:16 (MSG)

This verse tells us the story of Jacob’s dream about a ladder reaching from earth to heaven, with angels going up and down. When Jacob woke, he realized something mysterious. God had been with him all along, but he hadn’t noticed.

God isn’t like the objects or the things we see around us. He doesn’t move from one place to another; He is everywhere at all times with us, even when we cannot see.

According to Jeremiah 23:24 The Lord says “Am I not a God near at hand and not a God far off? Can anyone hide out in a corner, where I can’t see him? Am I not present everywhere, whether seen or unseen?”.

We see another Man of God declare the same out of an experience in the Bible, David!

David captures the truth in Psalm 139:7-10: Saying; "Where can I go from Your Spirit?  Where can I flee from Your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me."

When we see some references from the Bible (1 Samuel 18:12, 18:14, 18:28 ERV) (1 Chronicles 11:9 ERV), which says "The Lord was with David" and the same we can see here, where David is declaring.

The same Jesus reassures to us in Matthew 28:20, “Surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Conclusion :

How often does that happen in our own lives?  God is near, yet we fail to recognize His presence.

why do we sometimes feel distant from Him?

It’s not because He moves away, but because of our sins, worries, Habit of Overthinking, our behaviour & Talks and more of distractions.

As Isaiah 59:2 says, "Your wickedness has separated you from your God,And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear".

When Jacob woke up, he didn’t say, “God just arrived here.” He said, “God is in this place.” This means God had been with him the whole time—it's just that Jacob hadn’t seen it. The same is true for us. God is there wherever we are, but we fail to recognize or experience it. He is present whether we’re at home, work, college, or hospital in sickness or feeling completely alone. He is present with us...

No matter how far we are from God and how far we feel, we can always go to God and get near Him. We don’t need to go to some different locations or some special places to find Him, He’s already with us all the time. All we have to do is open our hearts and ask Him to help us sense His presence.

 May God bless !!
